Frank Prendergast is a highly respected and experienced business leader with a successful career spanning more than 36 years.
As an ambitious young entrepreneur, Frank created, launched and managed the physician distribution business division of Staten Island Surgical. Frank would spend the next 25 years working for HSIC which is a Nasdaq 100 firm with decades of proven success delivering results for shareholders and customers, as well as a continuous member of Fortune® Magazine’s Most Admired Companies. Before retiring from Henry Schein’s Medical Division with the title of Director, Capital Equipment US, Frank served in several commercial roles including Director of Supply Chain Relations, Product Category Director and Regional Sales Manager. Each of these roles represented increasing scope of responsibility and in each of these roles, Frank distinguished himself as a leader who consistently exceeded goals and as evidenced by multiple “Passport Trips”, Regional Manager of the Year, and the coveted Henry Schein Spirit Award. An enduring testament to Frank’s success as an industry leader is the executive level access he enjoys with many of the world’s major medical manufacturers and solution provider. Outside of Henry Schein, he has been recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow with Rotary International, Past President of the Green Island Community Association, and the recipient of a Notre Dame Business Certification.
Frank’s unparalleled achievements are fueled by his skills as a relationship builder, a leader, a sales expert, a negotiator, an innovator, and a trainer with a passion for excellence and an unquenchable will-to-win. Although his business skills and accomplishments speak for themselves, Frank’s “secret sauce” is his ability to challenge and elevate everyone around him to unparalleled levels of performance. For colleagues seeking to exceed budgetary forecasts, drive sales teams, branding, commercialization, exceed on promotional contests, or master personal skills, Frank is sought out as a mentor and a motivator. He truly personifies the concept of both “Winning Through Others” and “Servant Leadership”.
